Class Descriptions 

General Rehab Classes at Positive Motion Rehab 

Individualised Rehab in a Supportive Group Setting 

Our small group classes offer personalised rehabilitation programs under expert supervision. Whether you're recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition, we have a class tailored for you. 

Maintenance Class 

Led by our Exercise Physiologist, this class focuses on long-term recovery and improving overall quality of life. Perfect for those looking to maintain their condition and stay active. 

Positive Motion Rehab Class 

Run by our Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist, this class is ideal for treating acute conditions or those new to exercise. Watch your strength and mobility improve as we progress your exercises throughout your recovery journey. 

Hydrotherapy 

Dive into healing with our supervised water-based sessions at Deakin. Available Wednesdays and Fridays, each participant follows an individual program designed to maximise the benefits of aquatic therapy. 

Precision Pilates 

Focusing on executing movements with intent and accuracy, emphasising proper technique to enhance body awareness and control. Each exercise is designed to achieve specific goals, ensuring that every movement contributes to improved strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Core Recovery (Levels 1 & 2) 

Strengthen your foundation safely, regardless of your body type, health condition, age, or musculoskeletal concerns. Level 2 offers advanced variations with increased difficulty, pace, and endurance challenges. 

Pelvic Strength Class 

Empower your core and pelvic floor in this specialised class. Suitable for all genders and ages looking to improve pelvic health and function. 

EP Conditioning Circuit (CC) 

Build your exercise capacity with a tailored program that goes beyond maintenance. Ideal for those aiming to enhance their general fitness while managing specific conditions. 

Oncology Recovery Classes 

Strength After Breast Cancer (SABC) 

Our evidence-based class supports up to 6 participants in their journey before, during, and after breast cancer treatment. Regain strength and confidence in a nurturing environment. 

Osteoporosis Class 

Strengthen bones and improve balance in this targeted class. Our expert-led sessions focus on safe, weight-bearing exercises to enhance bone density and reduce fall risks.

Class Handout 

What to expect: 

You will first have a 1:1 appointment with your therapist to familiarise you with the gym and how to use the equipment. We will go through your customised exercise program and teach you how to perform each exercise correctly so you’re ready for your first class. 

What to bring: 

Your towel 

Water bottle 

Please wear exercise clothing 

Non-slip socks - we sell these at the clinic 

Gym etiquette: 

Please be on time 

Do not enter the gym while the previous class is in progress unless instructed otherwise 

Do not use equipment unsupervised or without permission 

Give space to previous class participants to gather their belongings and exit Wipe all equipment after use and pack it away 

Please leave your program in the gym - ask reception if you’d like a copy to take 

Pricing & Conditions: 

6-packs - $330 

12-packs - $600 

Casual class rate - $65 

After completing your class pack, you will undergo an evaluation of your program and a reassessment. 

Reception will provide you with your booking code so you can reschedule or cancel your booking online
